2 Handy Feature Updates
Let’s dive into a couple of cool new updates about Notifications and Automations in Notion!
Tip: Enhanced In-App Notifications
Yes, you heard it right, Notion has enhanced In-App Notifications!
Now, you can target up to 20 users directly, ensuring your team stays in the loop more efficiently. It’s perfect for group projects, mentioning specific users or roles in automations for real-time updates.
Use cases:
▪️ Alert account managers instantly when a client's status changes.
▪️ Notify project owners if a project hasn't moved for 2 days.
▪️ Inform the company owner about dips in customer satisfaction.
To make it happen, navigate to your database, find the three dots, and select automations. Next, specify when any of the automations should occur, and in the "Do this" field, select "Send notifications to" before choosing your recipients. And that's it!
Tip: Duplicated Automations in Notion
We can duplicate automations in Notion!
This is a great step forward, especially for people who have a really detailed automated system and need different versions of this automation to start under various conditions.
Earlier we had to create each variation from scratch manually. This process was time-consuming and often prone to errors due to the complexity and length of the automations.
Not anymore!
That's it!
